Dr Kus is an excellent communicator. He managed to explain what he was doing and assessing on my son both to us and my son equally so that we all understand what was going on. His care and attention extended past the ward as he gave us his own email address and also phoned us with updates. Dr Kus helped us in a difficult time, his care and attention to detail really put us at ease and has given us great faith in the Gloucester Hospital Childrens ward. The other members of the Children's ward that assist Dr Kus also follow his lead in manner and attention to detail from the other doctors to the play leaders. Thankyou

My daughter has only seen Doctor Kus twice (so far) and on both occasions he listened and spoke to her in manner I have not seen before in a Doctor. I say this because my eldest daughter was involved in a serious R.T.A two years ago and during that traumatic time we saw Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neurologists and Physiotherapists. Not one of them treated my daughter in the manner in which Doctor Kus is treating my youngest daughter, that is with respect and sympathy for her problem. He also has given his email address to contact him should I have any queries or concerns about my daughter's treatment. This kindness and understanding is a of great comfort during this worrying time.

Dr Kus has been in our lives for over 3 years in the care of my son who was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. He knows my son well and is my preferred Doctor to see if we go to the ward.i trust what he is telling me and the way forwards . He is thorough and in my opinion carrys out the best course of action . He has made time to see us and will always return our phone calls and emails even though he is extremely busy working on the ward . We were lucky to have such an experienced Doctor treating my son over the past 3 years who was diagnosed with Leukaemia .

Hi we have only had one meeting with Dr Kus and yet we feel so confident and at ease with him. He has gone out of his way to help us as a family and to try to ease our worrying and anxieties. He spoke to myself and our child in such a lovely manner. He explained everything that would be happening and made my son fully understand about what was happening and also us as parents. We fully understand the next step of treatment and tests and we know that if we have any questions or worries Dr Kus will listen. His has phoned us and emailed us and that has helped greatly, as we always have so many questions that we think about once home. We feel as parents that he has such a knowledge and such a caring attitude that we are able to breathe a little more as treatment is being sorted for our son. We cannot thank him enough for all that he has done.

Dr Kus has always been a thoroughly dependable consultant who is willing to go that 'extra mile' for his patients. Always interested and willing to listen and evaluate the patients concerns and balance those concerns with their needs. We felt that we were always aware of what was happening and dealt with in both a professional and caring manner. His explanations, decisions and rationale was given in a way that allowed time for consideration and reflection with sufficient time to absorb both major and routine developments, for the patient and parents. He is clear in his explanations and giving news that was traumatic and life changing. We as a family have every confidence in his ability and very much liked him as person and his caring attitude.
